Creating Scheduled Backups
Scheduled backups are a great way to ensure that your server data is safe and secure. In this guide, we will show you how to create scheduled backups for your server.

Login to the SanoServers Control Panel

Navigate to your server’s control panel

Click
Schedules
on the left-hand side of the server’s control panel -
Click
Create schedule

Give the task a name in the Schedule Name option
Select your desired frequency, for example you could put the below for once a day
Time Field | Value | Description |
---|---|---|
Minute | 0 | Minute of the hour |
Hour | 0 | Hour of the day |
Day of Month | * | Day of the month |
Month | * | Month of the year |
Day of Week | * | Day of the week (0 or 7 is Sunday) |
- Select Create schedule
- After creating the schedule, you will be able to see it in the list of schedules
- Select the schedule you just created
- Click the
3 dots
on the right-hand side of the schedule - Select
Add a new task
- For the action select
Create Backup
NOTE: If you wish to ignore the world folder, you can do so by adding the world folder to the ignore list
- Select
Create task
You have now created a scheduled backup for your server. You can view the backups by clicking the Backups
tab on the left-hand side of the server’s control panel.
